This species was sampled from three different areas with 1,8 ind./m3, 2,3 ind./m3 and 3 ind./m3 abundances, respectively. C. sowerbii generally distributes in man-made ponds and reservoirs. There is no data about C. sowerbii is previously existed in this pond. Stockings are performed from time to time in the Pond Ula. Therefore, it is thought that this species could have come to the pond with stocking. But there is no precise information on this subject.
